Get your IT papers in order with vinyl shop ticket holders

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

At C-Line, every office employee has a computer assigned to them. With each computer, there are certain documents that need to stay with the machine. So what does our IT Department do? They use self-adhesive vinyl shop ticket holders to keep those all-important papers stuck directly onto the side of the computer.

Biodegradable sheet protectors still offer archival quality

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

When someone thinks of a product being biodegradable, they sometimes also assume that the product won’t be of the same high quality that its non-biodegradable counterpart is.  But, I am here to tell you that our biodegradable poly sheet protector still provide the same archival quality document storage and protection you have always relied on.

Write-on Project Folders are Still #1

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

About a year and a half ago, I raved about my love for write-on project folders. It was one of our new items at that time, so I figured the adoration I felt for the product would fade eventually. But all this time (and many new product introductions) later, I still think of it is one of our tops.

Custom sheet protectors are sometimes hidden right in front of your eyes

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Recently, a customer was looking for a sheet protector with multiple pockets, to store coupons. I searched the product line, but could not find what she was looking. Then, it dawned on me, what she really was looking for wasn’t typically thought of as a sheet protector nor was it a custom product. In fact, what she was really needed was a 5 x 7 photo storage page.

A welded shop ticket holder doubles as an inner document envelope

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

I know I use C-Line products in all different ways (remember, Cleer Adheer laminating can also double a lint roller). But lately, I’ve been chatting a lot with customers, which has given me a different way to look at some of our items. I thought I would share one with you – using a welded shop ticket holder to hold papers within a larger document file (this particular use has come up frequently in the last week or so).

Over the past year, I have written about the new biodegradable poly expanding files, and may have forgotten to tell you about another new expanding file product. One that brings functionality and fashion to your desk. I am talking about the plaid poly expanding file!

Get sorted with a file sorter

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Have you found that it is halfway through the year and you’ve fallen behind on filing? It doesn’t have to be a constant game of “catch-up” when it comes to file organization. If you use a heavy duty sorter, the time it takes to put away records, letters or invoices will decrease. Plus, the pressboard divider and metal tab construction ensure long-lasting durability.

New household file organization with clear sheet protectors

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Recently, my husband and I moved into a new home.  And I thought, what better way to shuffle around my home office organization method than now.  Previously, I used to organize our bills, statements and receipts in individually-marked file folders. All of those were placed in a decorative file box. This was handy because we did not have a formal office.  Now we do.

It may be mid-year, but I am going to try something new – organizing all our financials in clear sheet protectors and a binder. Here’s the plan of action for this project, which may work for you too: (more…)

Sheet protectors are everywhere!

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Poly sheet protectors here, vinyl sheet protectors there…. everywhere I turn that are sheet protectors! And that is not a bad thing!

In the year and a half since this blog was started, you may have noticed my penchant for organization. No matter what I am doing and the many projects I work on (professionally and personally), the one organizational product I always go back to is the sheet protector.

Why? Because it is such a very varied product (yes, that small alliteration was intended). Check out some examples of how the page protectors are used while…

Use a vinyl pocket to hold your office accessories

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

The self-adhesive business card holder isn’t a new product and is typically used for holding business cards. But can you think of another use for this vinyl pocket? How about as a flash drive holder in your planner, binders, or wherever you need quick access to this device.
