The deluxe vinyl project folder is rediscovered for office organization

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Over the years, I have changed up my organization routine when new products are introduced to the line. I have fallen in love with write-on project folders, zip ‘n go expanding portfolios, and the expanding file with handles.  But recently, I rediscovered an older organizational product – the deluxe vinyl project folder.

Why do you I like this item?

Side loading vinyl sheet protectors keep my to-do list and other materials always accessible

Friday, February 26th, 2010

You are probably familiar with top loading vinyl sheet protectors. But, have you ever used the side loading version of this vinyl holder? That’s right, you can get all the features and benefits of a vinyl protector, but in a side loading alternative.

While the majority of page protectors are top loading, there are side loading versions available too. Side loading vinyl sheet protectors are good for frequently used documents.  And I don’t just mean documents that you look at a lot, but also documents that need to be taken out of the protector often.

Vinyl ticket holders keep C-Line organized

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Last month, I posted the ways vinyl ticket holders are used at C-Line, to keep the company organized.  At the time, the pictures I had taken of those uses, were stuck in my phone.  Today, I am happy to present the ways we use these durable and versatile vinyl holders, now available in photos.

Legal size sheet protectors helped me sort real estate papers

Friday, February 5th, 2010

My husband and I recently bought a new house. With that, not only came a new set of keys, but mounds of paperwork. Some documents were letter size, but most were legal size. I wanted to have everything organized because you never know when you will need the land survey you were given at the closing.

So after the closing, we walked out of the building with a giant stack of documents and I immediately organized them in a binder, using legal size sheet protectors. (Okay, not immediately, but I did the following day after I bought a new legal size binder.)  I just did not like the thought of all those papers loose in the file cabinet or a drawer. I like having all the signed forms in one place.

Biodegradable office supplies help the environment while they organize

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

I’ve always been organized, but now I am helping the environment while I do so. To keep my projects and papers in order and still in “tote-able” form, I recently began to use the biodegradable extra large document case (it’s my favorite new product). And for further organization, I have biodegradable portfolios and reusable envelopes for further divisions within the carrying case.

I like knowing that I can stay organized, whether in the office or at home, with these products. And when I am done using them, I also like knowing that these items won’t leave a footprint on the Earth. I could rattle off all the features and benefits of the bio product lineup, or you could read our Biodegradable Products FAQs section for more information (trust me, it is better at explaining the process then I am).

bio document case keeps me organized

Here is my bio document case with portfolios and envelopes in it to keep my papers in order.

And what, you may ask, did I do with my old project folders, which were not biodegradable? Well, those are recyclable, where facilities are available, and I just so happen to live in a community that accepts all forms of plastic (#1-7) for recycling. Check with facilities in your area before throwing out that old report cover or expanding file; you may be able to recycle them.

Binder sheet protectors bring order to your papers

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

I know I am always talking about organization, but I cannot help it! I like to have everything in order and I work for a company that is all about helping you be more organized. So I guess it would go without saying that I would have an opinion on the number one product for organization, which happens to be binder sheet protectors. Yes, it is true, I strongly favor the project folder and document case, while other rely on shop ticket holders, but nothing is as versatile as the page protector.

Remember, this product comes in many sizes, capacity style, weights, materials, finishes, and even colors.

Resolve to be organized with vinyl shop ticket holders

Friday, January 8th, 2010

This time of the year is when people make resolutions to change something in their life – such as their exercise habit, diet, ability to be punctual, organizational skills, etc. But instead of resolving to change your entire life overnight, try to change something in one aspect of it. For instance, if you have an out-of-control shopping habit, start small and make a grocery list and vow to only shop from it while at the grocery store. Or do you need to be more organized? Start working on the new habit at work first. And what better way to organize at work than with vinyl shop ticket holders.

Archival polypropylene sheet protectors help me reminisce about the past

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

If you are like me, as the year comes to a close, you begin to get sentimental about past events.  I am not only thinking about things that happened during 2009, but also what has happened throughout my life. So what else does a sentimental sap like me do, but look through old photo and scrapbook albums.

Since all my photos and scrapbook pages are stored in archival polypropylene sheet protectors, they are safe from the damage that time can bring. And this holds true for your reports, reviews, data sheets… any materials that you want to be protected. The poly page protectors are acid-free, meaning that there is no danger of photo or printer inks, toners, colors or other materials “lifting” off the pages or pictures and sticking to the sheet protector. Write-on project folders provide gift-giving organization

Friday, December 25th, 2009

If you have been following this blog for some time, you will know that I tend to be a highly organized individual. In my family, there are seven children, including spouses, to buy for.  So to alleviate some of the shopping stress, we do a grab bag. After we pick names, each person sends out their holiday wish list, and their “secret Santa” gets some or all of the items (we have a $100 limit).

It just so happened that this year, my husband and I each picked people who had quite lengthy lists.  So to organize the lists and other gifts ideas, I used the write-on project folders – one of my favorite products! (more…)

Custom sheet protectors available from C-Line

Friday, December 18th, 2009

In addition to our stock line of products, C-Line also has an entire custom order department. Yes, if there is something about a product, like a sheet protector, that you need made to your specific needs, we can help.

So for instance, say you need custom sheet protectors that are a special size, like 4 x 6 to accommodate a daily schedule book that your students use. You cannot find this size anywhere and you want to sell it in your school’s bookstore. Or, you want to sell a sheet protector that features a binding strip in the school’s colors with the school’s logo embossed on it, rather than that plain, white strip in our current products. What do you do?
