Biodegradable sheet protectors still offer archival quality

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

When someone thinks of a product being biodegradable, they sometimes also assume that the product won’t be of the same high quality that its non-biodegradable counterpart is.  But, I am here to tell you that our biodegradable poly sheet protector still provide the same archival quality document storage and protection you have always relied on.

Custom sheet protectors are sometimes hidden right in front of your eyes

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Recently, a customer was looking for a sheet protector with multiple pockets, to store coupons. I searched the product line, but could not find what she was looking. Then, it dawned on me, what she really was looking for wasn’t typically thought of as a sheet protector nor was it a custom product. In fact, what she was really needed was a 5 x 7 photo storage page.

New household file organization with clear sheet protectors

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Recently, my husband and I moved into a new home.  And I thought, what better way to shuffle around my home office organization method than now.  Previously, I used to organize our bills, statements and receipts in individually-marked file folders. All of those were placed in a decorative file box. This was handy because we did not have a formal office.  Now we do.

It may be mid-year, but I am going to try something new – organizing all our financials in clear sheet protectors and a binder. Here’s the plan of action for this project, which may work for you too: (more…)

Sheet protectors are everywhere!

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Poly sheet protectors here, vinyl sheet protectors there…. everywhere I turn that are sheet protectors! And that is not a bad thing!

In the year and a half since this blog was started, you may have noticed my penchant for organization. No matter what I am doing and the many projects I work on (professionally and personally), the one organizational product I always go back to is the sheet protector.

Why? Because it is such a very varied product (yes, that small alliteration was intended). Check out some examples of how the page protectors are used while…

Plastic sheet protectors can be good for the environment

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

When I typically think of a plastic product, very rarely does “environmentally friendly” also occur to me.  Did you know that plastic sheet protectors can, in fact, be “green” too?

Check out just a few of the ways this common office product can help you to help the planet’s ecosystem:

Edible, flavored top loading sheet protector

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Happy April Fool’s! If you missed our April Fool’s Day Post,
here it is:

In an effort to remember the less stressful times when we were children, we are introducing the Rainbow-flavored top loading sheet protector.

These rainbow-hued holders look like a standard sheet protector, but taste like a fruit roll. That’s right, these sheet protectors are edible! You will instantly be transported back to your childhood once you see and taste. Each color is a different flavor (some traditional and some more exotic):

red = strawberry

orange = peach

yellow = pineapple

green = sour apple

blue = blueberry

purple = pomegranate

pink = guava

white (binding
strip) = white grape

Rainbow-flavored Edible Sheet ProtectorProtect your documents while also providing a snack with the Rainbow-flavored Edible Sheet Protector.

Keep your documents protected and stored in your binder. Once finished using the holder, just take out the paper to recycle and indulge your inner child in some sweet, fruity deliciousness. Or, skip the document storage all together and just have a snack. Think of it as your fruit break. Remember when those were mandatory?!?!

One added bonus of these new sheet protectors – they smell like fruit too! I use them not only as a snack and to protect my papers, but also as a light air freshener for my office. I find the smells soothing. Sometimes, I get a whiff of apple and am reminded of my childhood days spent apple picking with my family. Other times, I smell the tropical fruits and am taken back to my trip to Hawaii as a little girl.

The Rainbow-flavored Sheet Protector will be coming to a store or website near you later this spring. Buy a pack for your document protecting and a pack for snacking.

A green top loading sheet protector helps me celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Today is St. Patrick’s Day.  Although it is not a national holiday, many people in my area (Chicago) celebrate it.  For one day out of the year, everyone is “Irish”.  So what am I doing to celebrate?  Using only green top loading sheet protectors for the day.  You may be laughing, but it is my little way of being festive. I had the thought the other day and think it’s a cute idea.

For example, I have a meeting this morning, so what will I be toting with me?  The meeting notes in the green sheet protector, a notepad and a pen (yes, it’s green). And because the meeting is to discuss packaging for environmentally-friendly products, the color has an added value. After the meeting, I will just put the sheet protector in my packaging binder. And when I look back at the notes in my binder, I’ll know exactly what day that meeting took place and what it was about.

green sheet protector keeps me organized on St. Patrick's Day
I am ready for my meeting on St. Patrick’s Day, with a notepad, green pen, and green top loading sheet protector containing the meeting agenda and a message for the blog readers.

I guess I’ll save the red holders from the box for Valentine’s Day 2011!

Do you do anything around your home or business to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? If so, please comment below.

Side loading vinyl sheet protectors keep my to-do list and other materials always accessible

Friday, February 26th, 2010

You are probably familiar with top loading vinyl sheet protectors. But, have you ever used the side loading version of this vinyl holder? That’s right, you can get all the features and benefits of a vinyl protector, but in a side loading alternative.

While the majority of page protectors are top loading, there are side loading versions available too. Side loading vinyl sheet protectors are good for frequently used documents.  And I don’t just mean documents that you look at a lot, but also documents that need to be taken out of the protector often.

Legal size sheet protectors helped me sort real estate papers

Friday, February 5th, 2010

My husband and I recently bought a new house. With that, not only came a new set of keys, but mounds of paperwork. Some documents were letter size, but most were legal size. I wanted to have everything organized because you never know when you will need the land survey you were given at the closing.

So after the closing, we walked out of the building with a giant stack of documents and I immediately organized them in a binder, using legal size sheet protectors. (Okay, not immediately, but I did the following day after I bought a new legal size binder.)  I just did not like the thought of all those papers loose in the file cabinet or a drawer. I like having all the signed forms in one place.

Binder sheet protectors bring order to your papers

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

I know I am always talking about organization, but I cannot help it! I like to have everything in order and I work for a company that is all about helping you be more organized. So I guess it would go without saying that I would have an opinion on the number one product for organization, which happens to be binder sheet protectors. Yes, it is true, I strongly favor the project folder and document case, while other rely on shop ticket holders, but nothing is as versatile as the page protector.

Remember, this product comes in many sizes, capacity style, weights, materials, finishes, and even colors.
