Index Dividers with Pockets Keeps Documents in Order to Home Renovation

Wednesday, October 15th, 2014

After contemplating for months about whether or not to remodel her home, a coworker has decided to start making plans to renovate her kitchen. Knowing that the planning process would be extensive, she wanted to be sure to stay organized so that all of her research would be in order.

Keeping track of quotes and vendors she contacted, in addition to tracking all of her final decisions would be beneficial in the long run. Not only would she be able to recall what colors were used to paint the kitchen, but she could also fall back on another company if her contractor ever fell through.

No-Hole Sheet Protector Provides Clean, More Professional Appearance

Wednesday, August 6th, 2014

Being in the office product industry, I tend to pay attention to how people or businesses choose to use our items.

Someone deciding to use an expanding file over a document case or folder instead of a report cover often comes down to a personal decision. However, there are sometimes that a different product within our line can make much more sense.

One of the biggest examples of this is when individuals use sheet protectors that are hole punched to protect documents even though they are not storing these pages in binders.

How Customers Use C-Line Products: Part 3

Wednesday, July 9th, 2014

Welcome to our final addition of this blog series! It has been lots of fun taking a different look at how and where our products are being used. This post idea comes straight from the owners of C-Line.

During a recent vacation, Jim and Judi Krumwiede went shopping at one of the boutique stores located on their cruise ship. While at a store, they began looking through a binder the employee had, allowing them to see different styles and variations of items that were available.

After glancing at the book, they immediately recognized the C-Line sheet protector!

Presentation Book Stores Travel Documents for Upcoming Trip

Wednesday, June 4th, 2014

My husband and I are in the process of preparing for a 10-day trip abroad. Being a tourist in a foreign country can sometimes be overwhelming with what sites and tours are available to see.

In order to narrow down what we want to visit, I have been doing a lot of research about what our options are. Additionally, as with any trip, there are a lot of important documents that come with your confirmation paperwork once the vacation has been booked

Quickly, my carry-on luggage was getting full between all my research and our travel documents. At first, I used a project folder  to store all the information, but I thought it might be easier to organize the pages in a way that kept them more visible.

How to Create Your Own Address Book

Wednesday, May 21st, 2014

It was not until my wedding last year that I realized how important it is to maintain an address book with people’s updated contact information. Tracking people down for correct addresses took a lot of time, and I wanted to avoid that in the future.

Post-wedding, I officially had everyone’s current contact information so I decided to spend some time and create an address book. I was disappointed in the standard books available at the store because I did not feel like they included everything I wanted, so I ultimately ended up choosing a C-Line product to use.

Sometimes DIY projects can take some time, but luckily the Mini Size Binder Kit came already assembled. Once it was reorganized, I was ready to start filling it with people’s contact information.

Colored Edge Sheet Protectors Create Sections for Storing Menus

Wednesday, April 30th, 2014

Although we try to cook at home majority of the week, there are times when I get bored (and lazy) of cooking dinner. Instead of always ordering from our go-to place, my husband and I recently started trying out different restaurants we had never gone to before.

Some restaurants are small, local places, while others would be considered more of a chain. We discovered that many of these places don’t have online menus, so every place we visited we made sure to take their menu home. Quickly, our menu drawer started to become a cluttered, unorganized disaster, so I came up with a better solution.

Panoramic Sheet Protector Used When Assembling Photography Portfolio

Friday, December 13th, 2013

A family member, who is currently studying photography in college, asked if we had any type of storage that would be helpful to her since she is trying to assemble her photo portfolio. I thought something like C-Line’s 12 or 24-Pocket Presentation Book would work for her. However, she had various size photos that would need to be accounted for.

After taking a look at C-Line’s array of products, I mentioned the Panoramic Fold-Out Sheet Protector to her. I thought using this style holder would allow her to store pages ranging from 8 ½ x 11 up to 17 x 11 in size. This sheet protector would be able to provide the amount of flexibility that she was looking for.

Mini Binder Pocket is Good Storage for Trade Show Business Cards

Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013

Trade shows involve so much preparation and planning, but are often over so quickly. Many shows that we attend are very fast paced, requiring our sales staff to remember conversations with current or potential customers.

One of our account managers likes to take notes directly on people’s business cards. She feels like even short notes will jog her memory so that she can account for what was discussed during her interaction with a show attendee.
