At C-Line, every office employee has a computer assigned to them. With each computer, there are certain documents that need to stay with the machine. So what does our IT Department do? I know I use C-Line products in all different ways (remember, Cleer Adheer laminating can also double a lint roller). But lately, I’ve been chatting a lot with customers, which has given me a different way to look at some of our items. I thought I would share one with you – using a welded shop ticket holder to hold papers within a larger document file (this particular use has come up frequently in the last week or so).

While in downtown Chicago this past weekend, my husband and I stopped in a coffee shop for a beverage. It was cold and windy and we needed a hot drink to warm us up. And low and behold, guess what was holding their “thank for your stopping by” sign that bid patrons farewell as they exited the building?

None other than a C-Line job ticket holder! We were surprised, elated and, of course, took a picture of the product in action! Check it out below!

Just today I was speaking with an industry colleague about her use of the industrial shop ticket holder. She uses the bright color and dry erase features of the neon ticket holders to give direction and help prioritize projects for her assistant. This time of the year is when people make resolutions to change something in their life – such as their exercise habit, diet, ability to be punctual, organizational skills, etc. But instead of resolving to change your entire life overnight, try to change something in one aspect of it. For instance, if you have an out-of-control shopping habit, start small and make a grocery list and vow to only shop from it while at the grocery store. Or do you need to be more organized? So for instance, say you need custom sheet protectors that are a special size, like 4 x 6 to accommodate a daily schedule book that your students use. You cannot find this size anywhere and you want to sell it in your school’s bookstore. Or, you want to sell a sheet protector that features a binding strip in the school’s colors with the school’s logo embossed on it, rather than that plain, white strip in our current products.
