If you are one of our regular blog readers, then you are already aware of C-Line’s Time’s Up! Self-Expiring Visitor Badges. This particular line of badges is an easy-to-use option that has the ability to increase security measures taken in schools and corporate buildings.

The 24-hour expiring badge will display a “Void” indicator that can easily be identified. The indicator aims to signify that the badge is not valid, and suggests that the visitor is no longer permitted in the building or that they must obtain a new badge for continued authorized access.

Due to the self-adhesive nature of the badges, it is recommended that they not be applied to vinyl, leather, suede, corduroy or silk. This may become an issue when using the badges if someone visiting your facility has on conflicting attire.

One of C-Line Products newest additions is a line of plaid designed expanding files and portfolios. This fashion line has been very well received among C-Line customers, and it has become a popular item in a relatively short time.

In October, C-Line participated in the Business Solutions Association’s (BSA) annual forum. In some form or another, I am willing to bet that everyone has a junk drawer of sorts. Typically located in the kitchen, the junk drawer is a convenient location to toss items that don’t really have an assigned location. Instead, they get mixed in with various other random items, and any attempt at being organized goes out the window.

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Halloween! It is hard to believe that we are already in the swing of the holiday season, and before we know it, Thanksgiving festivities will be here.

Personally, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I find that it is not as chaotic as some of the other events throughout the year that may focus on gift giving or next year’s resolutions. Instead, it’s a relaxing time to enjoy good food with close relatives and friends.

It is hard to believe that we are already half way through the month of October. At this point, I am certain that everyone has been made aware that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Whether you have noticed races that aim at raising money for research or have witnessed the NFL players and coaches wearing pink paraphernalia in support of prevention, this month is a time to take notice of a worthy cause.

This year in particular is different than others. It is especially important being that it is the 25^th anniversary of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As usual, I went to visit my family for Sunday dinner last weekend. Knowing that my parents had been doing some fall cleaning, I was interested to see if they found anything of interest to me. Sure enough, I received two big boxes of items that they had kept over the years. I discovered my school report cards, certificates and awards dating back to Kindergarten.

Although my mom was happy to give the boxes away, I was clueless about what to do with everything. Since the boxes had been saved for so long, I didn’t want to throw it all away. Storage is limited in my townhome, so I had to figure out another alternative.
