Q and A: Creating a Holiday Recipe Binder

Often times, our customers look to us to make suggestions on how to use our items. Whether they need help for a particular situation or just want more information on how to best use a product, we at C-Line are happy to guide them in the right direction!

Here is a recent question we received from a customer.

Question

Some people look at the holiday season as a time of gift giving, but I look at it as a time of cooking and baking for my family and friends. I host Thanksgiving and often bake my family’s holiday favorites throughout the season. Since I love to cook, I have several books and journals full of my recipes. In an effort to get more prepared for all of the cooking that is ahead of me, I was hoping to save time by pulling out all my holiday recipes. Thoughts on how to get everything organized?

Answer

Thank you for your question! I am impressed by your desire to get all your recipes in order for the holiday season. It definitely makes sense, especially if you make the same recipes every year!

I have the perfect, compact solution for you. Known for our durable sheet protectors, C-Line has a variety of holders that can be used for protecting your recipes while they are in-use or being stored. My recommendation would be to utilize the Mini Size Sheet Protectors to create your very own Holiday Recipe Binder.

C-Line's Heavyweight Mini Size Sheet ProtectorsStore up to two pages inside each clear, heavyweight sheet protector.

Print or create your recipe card on 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” pages. The holder is clear on both sides, so you can even display two different recipes at once, if needed. The reinforced edging makes sure the sheet protector remains in place while stored in a three-ring binder.

Since the edging is already three-hole punched, the sheet protector can be stored inside C-Line’s Mini Sized Binder. The binder, which comes in four different colors, has a 1” capacity so it can accommodate all of your recipes. If you really are interested in getting uber organized, you can add the Mini Sized Index Dividers to the binder to create categories to divide your recipes into.
