Specialty holders go beyond storing baseball cards

Looking for a way to keep your coupons in order, but aren’t interested in using a coupon size expanding file? Well, one reader introduced me to the idea of using trading card holders to store and organize coupons.

The poly holder has nine compartments, all with a size of 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, which is perfect for storing coupons. Since the pages are clear, you can quickly see what coupons you have available.

I was thinking about the separation technique idea a bit further. You could go one step further and label each compartment with the coupon grouping inside, such as “Beverages”, “Canned Goods”, “Frozen Foods”, “Cleaning Supplies”, etc.

One further piece of organizational advice – keep track of those coupons when you make your shopping list. The reader told me that she uses the copyright symbol – © – as a shorthand way to note what items she has a coupon for.

You know I am always looking for new and different ways to use C-Line items. Tell me about your unique uses of office supplies in the Comments section.
