Staying Organized! Top 3 Office Organization Tools

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Being new to the C-Line team, I have found myself having to take on new and different tasks than I have at previous jobs. In order to stayed organized still remain efficient while still learning; I rely on many systems for organization.

Top 3 Office Organizers

  1. Write-on Project FoldersWrite-One Project Folders – When working on a project, no matter how long- or short-term, I always accumulate a lot of notes, emails, papers and more that I need to go back to time and time again. When that happens, I take out a new Write-On Project Folder, label it with the project title, such “60th Anniversary”, and I am good to go. When finished, I can just file the folder away in my drawer, just like any other folder, and still have the label visible for quick access when I need it.

The Bridezilla is here

This past summer, I got married with a destination wedding to La Quinta, California. And although there were only 12 people in attendance, there was still a lot to coordinate, plan and keep track of. Everything went as scheduled and it was all because I was organized!

To help me keep straight all the various contracts, event orders, vendors and ideas, I used an Expanding File With Handles. This was the perfect organizational tool to keep different vendors’ information separate, but still be accessible in one convenient place. Also, the chic black exterior and handles meant I could carry everything I needed to all appointments and still look stylish, a very important factor for a bride-to-be.

October is Pink Month

Just the other night I did something daring and colored my hair. Okay, I know, it doesn’t seem like a liberating experience, but I had been dying my hair myself the same shade of “bright black” for about a third of my life. So what swayed me to change? The fact that the cost of my hair color was a part of the “Pretty in Pink” promotion, where participating salons and spas offer select services at a fixed price of $31. These salons and spas also make a pre-set donation to Breast Cancer Network of Strength™ so we can receive the benefit of the discounted services.

Welcome to the C-Line blog! I am your blog moderator and main poster, Lindsay, and also the newest addition to the C-Line team (even newer than Lancelot). Although I am new in my role at C-Line, I am not a stranger to office products. I have been using office supplies and working in the industry for many years. And although I did deviate for a little bit outside of the industry (what was I thinking?), it just keeps calling me back. I guess it’s because I love to be organized, at home and at work.

Through this blog, I want to keep you informed on the newest products, information, product uses and more from C-Line. And I hope to be able to share my experiences with and enthusiasm for office supplies with you. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
