Hi, it’s the hello my name is badge here. For this week, I’ve taken over the C-Line blog to let you know something. This year, I turn the big 5-0! (Don’t snicker, I really did get my start in 1959)!

Here I am – the hello my name is badge – celebrating my birthday!

But I’m not down or blue (see I’m actually red today) about getting older. In fact, the older I get, the happier I am. You see, I know the world around us is changing and more people are becoming hi-tech. And with the technological revolution, a lot of “old school” products are going out the window. I mean, who even knows what a typewriter is anymore… do they even make those things?  Well, that won’t happen to me. No way!

Lately, I’ve told you about uses for C-Line products outside of this office, and this week I’m bringing you another use – coaching.  Yes, the products can be used for coaching sports. Which product you ask? The job ticket holder is great for keeping your roster, lineup, play diagrams and rule sheets clean and safe during any game or practice session.

Last week, I decided that it was time to straighten out my recipe cabinet. I call it a “recipe cabinet” because it is literally an entire cabinet in my kitchen devoted to food magazines, cookbooks, and random recipes printed from various websites or ripped out of the newspapers.  For years, the clutter has grown larger and higher, until I could no longer fit anything else in the cabinet.  What did I turn to to solve my organization problem? My plastic sheet protectors!

This past weekend, I helped host a bridal shower for my sister. It was not a formal affair, but there were still guests whom I had not met or did not know all of us in the bridal party. So, what did I do? I created name tags to be used with name badge holders for the entire bridal party.
