Clip Name Badge Holder: The Most Popular Badge Holder

Friday, October 30th, 2009

The clip name badge holder is the most popular of all badge holders. Why? Because it allows you to get the most use out of one holder. What do I mean by this?

The clip badge holder is an extremely flexible option for use at events. It can be easily attached to a shirt, jacket, sweater, just about anywhere without marring your clothing.

New bio products are a finalist for BSA Innovation Award

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Some of C-Line’s biodegradable products – including sheet protectors, project folders and name badge holders – were finalists for the 2009 Business Solutions Association (BSA) Innovation Award. The BSA Innovation Award goes to the company or companies that have the most innovative product, display, promotion, policy or idea.

The award was handed out earlier this month, during the BSA Annual Forum in Florida. Although C-Line did not take home the top prize, it is still an honor to be recognized for our innovative office products and support for the environment.

Because of the award deadline, the newest lineup of biodegradable products from C-Line were not in contention for the award. Maybe next year?!?

Add an extra touch to your presentation with a report cover

Friday, October 16th, 2009

How many times have you gone into a meeting and had papers passed out to all attendees? And then, after the meeting is over, many of the papers are left on the table? When creating a report, presentation, meeting handouts and documents of that type, it is sometimes difficult to make the information standout or truly convey just how important it is.

With the use of a report cover, not only does your data standout against papers that have simply been stapled or paper clipped together, but it also says to the reader, “Hey, I’m important here, so pay attention to me!“.

So, where to begin when selecting a report cover? You have a few options available, so choose the one that best meets your needs or preferences.

Sheet protectors provide protection from the rain

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Last Friday, my sister, Jen, got married. If you are a frequent visitor of the blog, you knew it was coming up soon. Well, the big event finally happened, but for this day, the weathermen in Chicago were predicting rain!  You may be thinking, rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck.  That may be true, but who really wants that to happen?!?  That’s what I thought.

Her main concern was important documents – marriage license, wedding vows, etc. – getting wet. You see, she got married on a boat and there was quite a walk from the car to the boat. We were going to have bags of things, like her jacket, touch-up makeup, an extra pair of flat shoes and more, but she was still concerned that if we had a torrential downpour (which is known to occur in Chicago) that even a canvas bag would not stop the water damage. So I suggested that she put all important papers into sheet protectors. She had two options for protection and it came down to preference.
