Neon ticket holders help with new employee training

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Just today I was speaking with an industry colleague about her use of the industrial shop ticket holder. She uses the bright color and dry erase features of the neon ticket holders to give direction and help prioritize projects for her assistant. Her use was so fabulous, I immediately thought to tell all of you about it.

A green top loading sheet protector helps me celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Today is St. Patrick’s Day.  Although it is not a national holiday, many people in my area (Chicago) celebrate it.  For one day out of the year, everyone is “Irish”.  So what am I doing to celebrate?  Using only green top loading sheet protectors for the day.  You may be laughing, but it is my little way of being festive. I had the thought the other day and think it’s a cute idea.

For example, I have a meeting this morning, so what will I be toting with me?  The meeting notes in the green sheet protector, a notepad and a pen (yes, it’s green). And because the meeting is to discuss packaging for environmentally-friendly products, the color has an added value. After the meeting, I will just put the sheet protector in my packaging binder. And when I look back at the notes in my binder, I’ll know exactly what day that meeting took place and what it was about.

green sheet protector keeps me organized on St. Patrick's Day
I am ready for my meeting on St. Patrick’s Day, with a notepad, green pen, and green top loading sheet protector containing the meeting agenda and a message for the blog readers.

I guess I’ll save the red holders from the box for Valentine’s Day 2011!

The deluxe vinyl project folder is rediscovered for office organization

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Over the years, I have changed up my organization routine when new products are introduced to the line. I have fallen in love with write-on project folders, zip ‘n go expanding portfolios, and the expanding file with handles.  But recently, I rediscovered an older organizational product – the deluxe vinyl project folder.

Why do you I like this item?

Badge holders are always on hand for trade shows

Friday, March 5th, 2010

At C-Line, we are busy preparing for a few upcoming trade shows. Although it is common that show attendees and vendors are provided with badge holders, extras are also packed with our booth supplies. We just never know if what they provide will work well with what the booth workers wear each day. So to prevent any problems with badges not hanging properly or ruining clothes, we pack extras. That way, everyone can select a different style, should the provided one not work out.
