Thanksgiving is here! And, with it comes a shorter work week, delicious food and a shopping frenzy.  Before getting caught up in all the holiday hype, here is a story that seems fitting to share at this particular time of year.

Recently, C-Line’s CEO Jim Krumwiede and his wife Judi spent time touring Zambia, a country located in Africa. During their travels, they met Charles, a knowledgeable guide that provided them with unique insight into life in Zambia.

One of C-Line Products newest additions is a line of plaid designed expanding files and portfolios. This fashion line has been very well received among C-Line customers, and it has become a popular item in a relatively short time.

In October, C-Line participated in the Business Solutions Association’s (BSA) annual forum. As in past years, BSA presented four awards that aimed at shedding light on “excellence” within the office supply industry. C-Line received the award for the 2011 Innovation of the Year “General Business” Product for the Plaid Fashion Design Pattern.

In some form or another, I am willing to bet that everyone has a junk drawer of sorts. Typically located in the kitchen, the junk drawer is a convenient location to toss items that don’t really have an assigned location. Instead, they get mixed in with various other random items, and any attempt at being organized goes out the window.

Recently, I have used C-Line’s Two Pocket Shop Ticket Holder to organize this drawer and free up some kitchen space.

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Halloween! It is hard to believe that we are already in the swing of the holiday season, and before we know it, Thanksgiving festivities will be here.

Personally, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I find that it is not as chaotic as some of the other events throughout the year that may focus on gift giving or next year’s resolutions. Instead, it’s a relaxing time to enjoy good food with close relatives and friends.

Holidays are a great occasion to break out the fancy china, cook a big feast and go above and beyond what you normally do. It may come as somewhat of a surprise, but when used outside of the office setting, C-Line’s products can add a unique detail that can make for a memorable occasion.
