The Number One Reason Why Self-Adhesive Business Card Holders are Cool

Wednesday, December 11th, 2019

You all have been to networking events. Or if not that, then to formal conferences where people introduce themselves. Often these places use a self-stick name tag. There is nothing wrong with self-adhesive name tags. One of C-Line’s original products is the Hello My Name Is self-adhesive badge, created back in 1959, which just celebrated its 60th anniversary and is still widely used. However, you know from using these badges that they typically don’t have much information on them. Usually the person’s name and sometimes their company.

Before and After: Self-Laminating Magnetic Style Name Badge Kit

Thursday, February 28th, 2019

This past weekend I was at a friend of mine’s house.  When I walked in the door she was writing a list of chores each person in the house had to complete that week.  Between herself, her husband and two kids they each have their own responsibilities to keep the house in order.  Doing the same chores every week can get boring so every week she assigns different chores to each person.  Rewriting the list every week was getting to be a hassle, so I suggested her to use C-Line’s Self Laminating Magnetic Styles Name Badge Holder Kit to create a chore board.

Before and After: Zippered Name Badge Protector

Wednesday, October 18th, 2017

Recently I was speaking to one of my friends, who is a middle school teacher, and she brought up that her students somehow always end up ruining the bathroom pass she makes. She said it either gets crushed or gets damaged by water.

Tired of recreating bathroom passes, I suggested that she checks out C-Line’s Zippered Name Badge Holder, which is resealable and can prevent moisture and dust from getting to the paper bathroom pass. The name badge can fit a maximum size of 3-3/4 in. 2-5/8 in. insert. The best part is that it is prepunched for use with lanyards, strap clips or card reels, which means the students should have no reason to lose the pass.  (more…)

Wednesday, April 20th, 2016

Sometimes visiting with other companies can give ideas on how you can change your operation standards in your business. Recently, several individuals from my company went to visit another company in order to learn how they operate everything from their plant to their shipping department.

Upon entering the building, each C-Line staff member was required to provide a photo ID for verification and sign the guest log book. The receptionist instructed everyone to sign the log and take the visitor badge.
