Before and After: Proximity Badge Holders

Wednesday, December 9th, 2015

It seems like more and more places are providing an access card in order to allow individuals in and out of a company’s building. My gym, apartment complex and office building are among many other entry cards that I tend to carry on me at all times.

These cards are important and should be protected when they are being stored. They serve an important purpose, allowing you access to buildings, so they should be kept separate from other items like business and gift cards.

Before and After: Wooden Name Badge Holder

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

At the beginning of the year, my brother’s company has a big sales meeting that is hosted at their corporate office. Since many of the reps are coming from different parts of the country, it is helpful to use name badges to help identify who people are.

In the past, the badges have been placed on a table for the reps to pick up before the start of the conference. I suggested that my brother try using the Wooden Name Badge Holder to help keep the badges organized and speed up the time it takes to locate each badge.

Name Tent Holder Helps Event Planner at Fundraising Event

Wednesday, February 11th, 2015

Often times, our customers look to us to make suggestions on how to use our items. Whether they need help for a particular situation or just want more information on how to best use a product, we at C-Line are happy to guide them in the right direction!

Here is a recent question we received from a customer.

As an event planner, my team and I are always looking for new things to do at the events that we are hosting. Over the holidays, we organized a fundraiser with silent auction and raffle items. Some of the feedback we received is that people were unaware of items that were being auctioned since they had no description to make the item stand out. Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve our set-up for the next fundraising event?

Name Badges Used to Identify Important Things in Classroom

Thursday, August 14th, 2014

When it comes to name badges, I think it is a pretty safe bet that everyone has had some interaction with these ID products. Often used at trade shows and group gatherings, the badges help communicate who you are to someone without having to verbally say it.

A friend of mine tried to apply this same logic to her classroom when she began to prepare for the new school year. Her goal was to help her students get acclimated to their new classroom without having to constantly stop class to demonstrate where things were located.

“Aloha” Name Badge Inspires Hawaiian-Themed Halloween Party

Wednesday, October 30th, 2013

Here in Chicago, holiday season brings cold, wet weather that makes us almost forget how beautiful our summers can be. Even though our weather has been mild, it will inevitably get chilly and with Halloween just around the corner, I decided to kick off holiday season in a different way then I usually do.

Instead of doing a typical costume party, we decided to make it more of a themed event. To help delay the chilly effects of fall and winter, I decided to throw a festive luau for our Halloween party.

The original idea for this unconventional party came to me after coming across the C-Line “Aloha” Name Badges!

Wooden Badge Holder is a Great Classroom Item

Wednesday, September 4th, 2013

It seems like at the beginning of every school year, we hear of all different ways teachers are using our products in the classroom. Some use them to benefit the students in their studies, and others use them to stay organized in the classroom.

Recently, I was contacted by an elementary school teacher who wanted to explain her use of the Wooden Name Badge Holder. Traditionally, this item is used at events and trade shows to display badge holders. This teacher, however, used it in a slightly different way for her classroom.

Tent Card Holders Useful During a Gym Class at School

Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

I love getting great blog post ideas from customers actually using our products. An elementary school gym teacher recently reached out to us to share his use of our Medium Style Name Tent Holder. In the past, we have talked about using the tent cards as place cards and menu displays, but this teacher provided us with another great use of this item.

Generally speaking, the name tent holders are used to display some type of information. This creative gym teacher decided to use the holders during circuit training for his students. Since the students were new to this type of training, the tent cards would help to identify what exercise would need to be done at each station.

Bake Sale Goods Identified with Hello Badges

Wednesday, February 27th, 2013

The iconic “Hello my name is” name badge is a staple C-Line item that has been around for many years. Ideal for meetings or conferences, the badges are a professional way to help identify event attendees. Since they are write-on, the badge can be made instantly without any prep work.

I have previously written about different uses I have found for the badges. When using the product as more than a name badge, it takes on somewhat of a fun role. Recently, I helped a friend organize a bake sale for Valentine’s Day in an effort to raise some money and the “Hello” badges become a key part of the sale’s success.
