Extension Cord with Cover is Valuable Trade Show Tool

After attending a trade show last month, I gained a new appreciation for one of C-Line’s products.

The Lay-Flat Power Extension and Cord Cover is a unique industrial product, which was first introduced to the line earlier this year. Originally, our plan was to display this product on a table at the show, but it ended up being a valuable tool while setting up.

I’m a list maker, no doubt about it. I organize my goals for the week by listing what tasks need to be completed, and as new jobs come my way, they go right on the list. Even though I know what I have on my plate at any given time, keeping a list is a visual reminder and safe guard so nothing is forgotten.

As each week passed, I found myself going through a lot of paper as I updated my To-Do list and tracked the progress. I thought of other ways I could list my weekly goals without wasting so many sheets of paper.

September is a busy month for birthdays in my family. Knowing this, I try to get all my gift shopping done in August to avoid last minute trips to the store. While I may be prepared when it comes to the gift, I somehow always forget to pick-up a card.

Recently, I was discussing this with a coworker who suggested stocking up on greeting cards so that I would always have one available at home. As simple as it seems, this thought had never occurred to me. (more…)

One of C-Line Products newest additions is a line of plaid designed expanding files and portfolios. This fashion line has been very well received among C-Line customers, and it has become a popular item in a relatively short time.

In October, C-Line participated in the Business Solutions Association’s (BSA) annual forum. As in past years, BSA presented four awards that aimed at shedding light on “excellence” within the office supply industry. C-Line received the award for the 2011 Innovation of the Year “General Business” Product for the Plaid Fashion Design Pattern.

With your desk drawers organized, let’s turn our attention to the “walls” as a means to organize your office.  There are several ways to utilize the vertical space in your office, home, or cubicle to make your workspace more efficient.

  1. Cubicle KeeperIf you have a fabric wall or board, use this to hang ongoing projects, schedules, and tasks. For instance, I am currently working on color combinations for new products. So on my board, I have paper swatches pinned up. This way, I am able to change them daily and see which color combinations work best together. Next to the swatches is a current listing of new products, so that I always have a reminder of what I need to strive for. Since I access the list daily, it is kept in a Cubicle Keeper, allowing for quick, easy changes when needed.
