Business Card Holder Works as Password Keeper

Wednesday, June 26th, 2013

C-Line may be known best for their sheet protectors, but there are many other specialty holders that serve a unique purpose. The business card holders are one of C-Line’s specialty items that are designed specifically for storing contact information.

Since the holders are three-hole punched, it allows individuals to create their own contact binder with business associates and vendor information. Although this is the typical use of the product, one of our employees discovered a different, yet beneficial use of the Business Card Holders.

Dry Erase Pockets – Study Aid or Packing Support?

Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013

Enjoy our Guest blog post!

As you know, dry erase pockets are a wonderful tool for studying, but I’ve found a new way to incorporate them around the home – as a packing list!

Last year, my family purchased a recreational home for use by all of the family members.  My husband and I use it as a weekend getaway, since it is a short 75 minute drive door-to-door. We leave a lot of things at the weekend house, so that we don’t have pack them every time; things like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, etc.  But, there are some things that we just don’t have “two” of and need to bring back and forth with each trip.

A Look at Products Used Throughout the Office

Wednesday, November 28th, 2012

While thinking about ideas for this week’s blogs, I started noticing so many of C-Line products being used throughout the office. So this week, here is a look at how we, here at C-Line, use our own products!

Binder Pocket Stores Scrapbook Supplies in One Place

Wednesday, October 10th, 2012

Giving gifts can sometimes be a stressful process, especially if that particular person is hard to shop for. Recently, a family member celebrated a birthday, and in order to avoid contemplating what to buy, I decided to make a scrapbook. Even though it is more time consuming then purchasing something at a store, I figured it added a personal touch that anyone could appreciate.

Gathering digital and printed photos was the first thing I did. This allowed me to decide how I was going to layout the images throughout the book. It also enabled me to account for the space that would be needed.

Binder Holder Labels Keep Containers Organized

Wednesday, September 12th, 2012

This past weekend, I spent the majority of my time doing major reorganization of my kitchen. My goal was to free up some space by being smarter about how things were stored. One way I planned to accomplish this was by using small rubber containers to store many random items that would otherwise end up floating in a drawer.

I used several containers to store things like medicine, office supplies and extra napkins. Since these items were not typically used on a day-to-day basis, they were able to be stored in the higher shelf of the cabinet.

Classic Office Product Proves Valuable at Trade Show

Wednesday, August 15th, 2012

Typically, we try to send our Sales staff to trade shows with a binder full of material related to specific products C-Line is showing, pricing information and order forms. In the past, we have used a variety of our products to keep the binder organized in addition to easily demonstrating the products, while they are actually being used.

This year of trade shows have been no different, except that we have added an additional feature to the trade show binders.

Tent Cards Make a Formal Impression

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

With the help of the internet, Do-It-Yourself projects have become increasingly popular. Not only is it a way to add your personal touch to everything from your home décor to a formal event, but it can also be a way to keep expenses down.

Recently, I helped a friend host a formal gathering for a family member’s birthday. Since she was conscious of her budget, we looked for ways that we could add a touch of detail to the event without breaking the bank.

Looking at C-Line’s website, some of you may have noticed that there have been additions since the beginning of the year. All new items are functional, yet have a unique flair to them. Throughout this year, I will highlight one of our new products so that everyone can become better acquainted.

So, the item up first (and my one of my favorite new items) is the Poly Expanding Legal Document Case!

Presentation Organized to Perfection

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012

Our blog sabbatical is over, and we are back! We know how much you must have missed us, so let’s get right to the organizational office product talk…

It comes as no surprise that presentations are an inevitable and necessary aspect of the business world.  Personally, I have a somewhat love/ hate relationship with preparing presentations. Although they tend to look great once everything is completed, I often struggle with how to assemble all the information.

This may be due in part to the fact that C-Line’s sample room provides a tremendous amount of options for how to organize documents. Everything ranging from presentation books to expanding files was at our disposable, and recently, a few coworkers and I probably considered every option imaginable.

We would normally opt for using C-Line’s three-ring binders with a heavyweight sheet protector to present the review to our customer. However, in this particular case, we wanted to be sure the customer could take notes directly on the pages, so they needed to be loose and accessible.
