Stick-to-itiveness: One Great Solution for a Meeting Room Dilemma

C-Line has so many great items that sometimes I feel like the poster boy for their products. Many C-Line products are usable in your daily lives, too. Just think outside the box, and viola you will find all your solutions!

As many of you may be aware, Toastmasters trains members in public speaking and leadership. To give speeches, Toastmasters meet at free or inexpensive spaces which typically have audiovisual equipment and either a dry erase board or at least a chalkboard, for members to use. However, sometimes this is not the case. Like in the new location where Good Humor Toastmasters (GHT) meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. GHT meets at a well-known pub and music venue called Durty Nellies in Palatine, IL. While this establishment has audiovisual monitors, they do not have board surfaces, in the space where the club meets. The club doesn’t have the money to purchase an easel and board or a chalkboard. Even if they did, these could be cumbersome to carry, especially given that GHT meets on the second floor.

As a member of GHT, I took it upon myself to see if C-Line had a solution to this problem. C-Line carries some very large 30 x 25 Dry Erase Easel Pads, but these seemed too cumbersome to carry up and downstairs.

One great solution that C-Line carries is the large 24 x 17 Dry Erase Sheets that worked beautifully. Since they are dry erase sheets they can be used and reused, and they stick to most flat surfaces without harming them. A second solution, if these are too large, are the smaller 11 x 8-1/2 Dry Erase Sheets that are easier to transport. For now, the 24 x 17 work great. See what works best for you and your group, especially if a dry erase or chalkboard isn’t available.
