Take Note – Index card book will keep you organized

I’m always on the lookout for ways to be a little more organized throughout my hectic life. One thing I do a lot of is make lists – things to do, groceries to buy, bills to pay, home projects to get done and on. So to keep it all in order, I’m happy C-Line has introduced the index card notebook.

The 3″ x 5″ size is a compact solution to taking notes, lists, and more with you on-the-go. Previously, I would make separate lists on random scraps of paper, sticky notes, basically whatever was handy at that moment. Hard as it may be to fathom from an organized Type-A person like me, but I would lose these lists all of the time, frequently finding myself at the grocery store trying to remember if there were any eggs in the refrigerator that morning.

Now, I take the notebook with me everywhere. While out and about, it fits nicely in my purse, without taking up much space at all. At home, I leave the notebook near my purse and keys. As I think of something I need at the store, I write it down. Likewise, as I finish a project or pay a bill, I cross it off and consider it done.

Here is a picture of my index card book at my home, sitting right beside my keys. When I think of something that I need to buy or get done, I write it down in an organized way, before I forget.

The index card book features three removable tabbed dividers that can be repositioned to create up to four sections, so I can customize it to my needs. The things-to-do section encompasses more action items that the bill-paying section, so I can rearrange the dividers and put more cards where I need them. The tabs make it easier to find the shopping list when at the grocery store. I just flip to that section. Over time, I will be able to remove completed lists, since the cards are perforated at the top and easy to rip out and throw in the recycling bin.
